Triplets are 9 months old! May, June and some July moments in time to share!

Surrounded by our little loves, their curiosity with all things helps us see that all is right in our world. Being a mother of multiples has its challenges; but, their love of life, each other and their personal joys shared with their daddy and me, make life with them exponentially more wonderful than if we had them like a normal family, one at a time. Seeing them play together makes it easier for Mommy and Daddy to observe their sharing and exchanging toys, their creative ways of interacting with each other, and being amazed at how they transport their bodies from one point to another. They are growing so quickly in just these two short months.

Monique manages to do her army crawl and roll-n-tumble to get just about ANYWHERE. Marek mastered the backward crawl and gets places even he couldn’t imagine going. We’ve watched Maarten do his arched-back upside-down scoot along his head crawl; he’s spending more time on his belly and building his upper body strength. Our awesome doctor shared today that all are acceptable ways to transport themselves; whatever works for now is what they’re likely to do. We’ve been so blessed and every day their deep thoughts and inquisition of objects’ purposes and abilities keeps them acutely observant and mobile to discover their world.

To see babies who one week couldn’t even sit up without assistance begin to feel confident with it the next, reassures me that all we can count on in life is change. To witness them learning to break their own fall with their arm and feel good about it- helps them avoid the back falling tearful events that preceded it. We are forever grateful.


Well Child Care at 9 Months:
Monique 18 lbs. 4 oz.; Marek 18 lbs. 5 oz.; Maarten 16 lbs. 13 oz.
