Spring is here! Thanks for enjoying it with us all!

We hope that this entry finds you all in good health...! We enjoyed our six month visit to the doctor; all three are healthy and meeting their individual benchmarks. Of course, they continue to get heavier; our workouts increase respectively.

Maarten: 14 lbs. 12 oz.
Monique: 14 lbs. 13 oz.
Marek: 16 lbs. 3 oz.

They enjoyed brown rice cereal for the very first time on April 14, 2008; they've been devouring solids including the apple sauce which we added yesterday. They aren't fond of squash; however, we'll sample it again down the road. Each has a hearty appetite! Monique prefers the bottle over the solids; we bet this will change over time.

We're busy as can be; kids aren't yet sleeping through the night. Whenever they cry, we creep into their room and survey the situation. Frequently we find that one has pinned himself/herself against the side of the crib and needs immediate help. Glad we didn't just assume they could handle it and let them cry. Once they're up, we cuddle them and try to nudge them back into their dreamland; yet, if we're needing assistance, we're still reaching for the bottles. We look forward to when they are sleeping through the night and early morning; yet, we're cherishing every moment of them as they're growing ever so quickly.
