Nana and Papa's Wonderful Visit from Oregon during February

We have been so blessed to have a fun week with Nana and Papa Van Alstyne. They flew in last Saturday, loved on their grand kids, gave us some rest time for Valentine's Day surprises and departed on the following Sunday morning. We are so grateful for their loving care and generosity. The kids benefitted with more exercise time on their tummies and their backs, they had a field trip in their stroller around the Whitetail Park, and even had their four month check-up with their Nana and Papa here! The grand kids passed their check-up with flying colors and are on the map with all their developmental benchmarks.

Marek now weighs 13 lbs. 4 ounces; Maarten weighs 11 lbs. 14 ounces; Monique weighs now 11 lbs. 4 ounces. They are growing like weeds!

We felt so fortunate that the kids are able to be loved so deeply by our families! Nana and Papa helped feed the little ones throughout the night every night they were here and even took over the care for two nights and two full days with all the feedings--- so we could have a few nights of nine hours of straight sleep and some Valentine's Day cheer! We cherish you both, Nana and Papa, and are grateful that you came when you did. We needed the extra rest, excellent food, and loads of love.
