We're are so grateful for everyone's generosity!

Suzi is on the mend! We couldn't be doing so well without your assistance. Our kids would not be thriving as well as they are without all of your generosity, love, and nourishment.

Many of you have sent us delicious meals, and others have sent kind words to support us, and many have also been here holding our babies and assistance around the house. Thanks to all of you who have sent us delicious meals. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Our triplet support mom, Adrianne Pollock of S.T.O.R.M. has been amazing in rallying support for us. S.T.O.R.M. members have generously given their time, wonderful advice, diapers, jumpers, meals, formula, and also provided some assistance from RestAssuredHomeCare.com this last weekend to help Suzi and I rest. Kelly Gilmore of Rest Assured said that they can process gifts of their time by emailing mb@restassuredhomecare.com or kg@restassuredhomecare.com.

In addition, Sheryl Schwabe, our Love and Logic teacher from this summer at the Boulder Parenting Place, and a member of the Boulder County Parents of Twins and More club, has been great and we've received a lot of help through her efforts.

Thanks also goes out to Erin Ellis and Lisa Holmes for their efforts in coordinating meals just after the kids were born up until January. Thank you! Thank you!

Many of you have spoken with Jen Nylander, our amazing angel, when you have called here these past months; she and her loving husband had been overseeing so much of the excellent care of our babies while Suzi has been ill. We so appreciate their loving contributions to the health of our family and especially to Suzi's spirit rising!

A special thanks to Jan Murray, our wonderful neighbor and another angel, who has been coming regularly these past several months to help with the kids. Thanks Jan!

Many of you have been using our blog and our Triplet Help Calendar to coordinate your visits and support. THANK YOU! We hope that you'll be able to continue to do that for a little while longer.

To request to be added to the calendar for Triplet Help or walking the dogs, please email: vanalstynevillage@gmail.com

Our good friend Sharon Otto will be answering your emails.

We only ask that everyone who comes is healthy, and everyone in their home is also healthy.

Here are some of our special friends; we thank you for your energy and time!

Again, we are so grateful for this abundance and outpouring of love and assistance!

We would like to thank everyone and especially Jen Nylander for helping us through this challenging time.

Below is a slideshow of our kids in sweaters that were knitted by Marie-Claude. Click the slideshow to access controls, and click again to go to the Picasa web site and order prints if you would like any.

Jen took these great photos preceding Suzi's illness taking a turn for the worse:

Love and Logic Winter 2008 Classes

Hi everyone,

I hope you are doing well. I am continuing to facilitate Love and Logic classes this winter. I will be doing both a "Becoming a Love and Logic Parent" (BLLP) class and two "Love and Logic Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun!"(EC) classes. I am also trying something different by offering an introductory talk. If you have a class to make up, please feel free to attend the classes you missed. If you are not sure which classes those are, I can help you figure it out.

I want to thank those of you who have taken the classes and always appreciate you passing along the class information if you know of anyone interested.

Winter classes are as follows (I have attached the flyers if needed):

"Becoming a Love and Logic Parent" class:

Coal Creek Elementary, Louisville - Tuesdays, Jan. 29 - Mar. 11, 6:00 - 8:30 pm

"Love and Logic Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun!" classes:

Parenting Place, Boulder - Saturdays, Feb. 9 - Mar. 8, 10:00 am- 12:30 pm Childcare is available at Parenting Place
Louisville Recreation Center - Wednesdays, Feb. 13 - Mar. 12, 6:00 - 8:30 pm

Introductory talks - Two evening to choose from:

Lakeshore Athletic Club, Broomfield - Fridays, Feb. 1 or Feb. 29 - 6:00 - 7:30 pm. Parents, both members and non-members, can take advantage of the "Parent's Night Out" childcare. There is childcare from 5:30 - 9:30 pm at $15/child for members and $20/child for non-members. Such a deal! And the introductory talk is free. Parents could take advantage of the whole 4 hour time frame and go out after the talk. So, if you know if anyone who has been wondering about Love and Logic this is a great chance to learn a little about it.

Warmly,
Sheryl Schwabe
